Frequently Asked Questions

Why is a telecom expense audit beneficial?
Keeping an eye on expenses is just good common sense for your business or organization. And, in today's economy, it is even more paramount for success. However, an area that is difficult for many companies to effectively analyze and manage is telecom expense. Voice and data line bills are often confusing to read, with many different line items and a myriad of obscure taxes and fees. Questions like, “What are these charges for?” or, “Why is our bill so high this month?” are not uncommon. You may also wonder how to confirm whether or not specific features or services on your account are really needed and if your bill charges are accurate.

Even small companies can benefit from a telecom expense audit. Just as regular checkups with a dentist or physician can prevent some serious, long-term health problems, a proper examination of telecom expenses can potentially provide your business with significant, long-term benefits by identifying current trouble spots and reducing ongoing, monthly costs for voice and data services.

There are a number of different telecom providers and many frequent changes within the telecom industry. MBRC Solutions is not affiliated with any particular telecom provider and is committed to helping you maneuver your organization successfully through this confusing maze and get you the best possible deal on your voice (including land lines and cellular) and data services.

How much does a telecom expense audit cost?
There is absolutely no up-front or out-of-pocket cost to your business for the audit services performed. You only pay MBRC Solutions a portion of any cost-savings that are realized on your telecom account(s).

What is involved in a telecom expense audit, and what is needed to get started?
Simply fill out and submit the necessary information within 'Audit Request'. When your submission is received, someone will contact you to discuss your information and seek to fully understand your environment and needs, as well as answer any questions you might have. After this follow-up, you will receive an email containing a service agreement that will need to be signed and returned to MBRC, along with two recent copies of all telecom bills. Upon receiving these documents, the formal audit process would begin.

A letter of authorization (LOA) may also be required by your telecom carrier(s), in order to allow MBRC Solutions to make inquiries and approved changes on your telecom account(s). If necessary, this form will be emailed to you for signature.
